The Ministry of Education and Training said that the virtual filtering process is the use of admission software to filter out candidates who have passed higher admission wishes to other schools from the expected admission list that the school sends to the system.
This ensures that each candidate is only admitted to one wish in one method in the list of wishes that candidates register to be eligible for admission, according to the principle of prioritizing higher wishes.
In addition to the general virtual filtering process of the Ministry of Education and Training, the units also formed two virtual filtering groups in the North and the South. The Northern virtual filtering group is chaired by the University of Technology and the Southern virtual filtering group is coordinated by the Ho Chi Minh City National University.

After the final virtual screening round ends before 5:00 p.m. on August 17, schools will enter the admission scores and admission results into the system, review and prepare to announce the first round of admission results according to the general schedule. Thus, after 5:00 p.m. on August 17, universities can announce the admission scores and admission results to candidates.
The Ministry of Education and Training requires schools to announce their admission scores no later than 5 p.m. on August 19. Each candidate will only be admitted to one highest choice.
Before 5:00 p.m. on August 27, candidates must confirm their first round of online enrollment on the system. The Ministry of Education and Training requires training institutions to require all candidates to confirm their enrollment online on the system before enrolling at the training institution.
