The Thai Festival "The Pulse of Tradition" - a unique cultural event is taking place at Thang Long Imperial Citadel from March 28-30. Not only bringing traditional activities such as folk dances, releasing flower lanterns or splashing water, this year's festival also captivates visitors with its authentic Thai culinary space.
More than 50 stalls sell traditional dishes, from familiar dishes such as pad Thai, mango sticky rice, tom yum, to specialties rarely seen in Vietnam such as green curry, Som Tam papaya salad or durian Thai dessert. Not only simply enjoying, visitors also have the opportunity to directly observe the processing, when Thai chefs prepare the dishes right at the stalls, bringing a real experience as if being in the middle of Bangkok's night markets.
One of the dishes that attracts a lot of diners is pad Thai - a famous stir-fried noodle dish with a harmonious flavor of fish sauce, tamarind, palm sugar and crispy roasted peanuts. Many tourists cannot hide their excitement when enjoying the authentic dish from Thai chefs for the first time.
Not only savory dishes, the culinary area also conquers diners with special desserts. Mango sticky rice with fragrant sticky rice, rich coconut milk combined with the sweet taste of ripe mango, or cool Thai sweet soup with durian and colorful jelly, are all choices not to be missed.
The food festival not only offers an opportunity to enjoy Thai flavors but also acts as a cultural bridge, helping Vietnamese people better understand the cuisine and culinary style of this country. Those who love the rich, flavorful dishes of Thailand will surely find unforgettable experiences at this year's festival./.
