In recent years, with the attention and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels, the close coordination of departments, branches, organizations, leaders of companies, enterprises, universities, colleges, etc., Ha Nam has effectively implemented propaganda activities as well as voluntary blood donation mobilization. With the message "Donate blood - Give life", the Spring Festival, the Red Journey, the "Summer Blood Drops" campaign, etc. have become highlights in the voluntary blood donation activities of the province. As a result, from December 2024 to present, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation has propagated, mobilized and received 4,759 units of blood, reaching 130% of the target assigned by the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation honored 76 groups, individuals, and 5 outstanding families in the voluntary blood donation movement. The honored delegates received Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Certificates of Merit from the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, and the Provincial Red Cross Society.

Also within the framework of the program, the Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with Ha Nam Vocational College to organize a voluntary blood donation festival.

At the festival, the school’s staff, lecturers, students and volunteers from the provincial Red Cross Society enthusiastically participated. As a result, the Organizing Committee collected 131 units of blood, the amount of blood collected will contribute to supplementing the blood reserves at medical facilities to treat patients.
