On December 9, the 18th term People's Council of Quang Binh province opened its 19th session. At the session, Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang mentioned many important contents, notably the determination to streamline the apparatus in the political system.

The Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee emphasized that streamlining the apparatus is a very difficult task, because it is directly related to the thoughts, feelings, aspirations and interests of many organizations and individuals. However, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang affirmed that this is an urgent and necessary task, bringing long-term benefits to the people and the country.

Mr. Le Ngoc Quang quoted General Secretary To Lam as saying that the sooner the streamlining is implemented, the greater the results will be. He requested that in December, Quang Binh province must complete the summary of Resolution 18 of the XII session on streamlining the organizational apparatus, from which to propose specific plans to submit to the Central Committee.

The Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee called on all levels of Party committees, authorities, agencies, organizations and localities in the province to have the highest determination and take drastic actions to complete this task. He emphasized that the success of this organizational streamlining will create a breakthrough change in the operation of the provincial political system.

In particular, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang hopes to receive the support and companionship of all people and voters in the province so that the restructuring and streamlining of the apparatus can achieve the best results.

At the 19th session, the People's Council of Quang Binh province will also listen to and consider 27 reports on the results of work in 2024 and key tasks in 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council; the results of the implementation of the Provincial People's Council's resolution on socio-economic tasks in 2024 and the socio-economic plan for 2025; information from the Provincial National Assembly Delegation on the results of the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly. At the same time, 31 submissions will be considered to implement the requirements of socio-economic development tasks of the province.

According to the meeting agenda, tomorrow (December 10), the People's Council of Quang Binh province will continue the discussion session; conduct a question and answer session.
