Leeds are about to welcome a new recruit of 20 million euros

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Leeds are very close to successfully recruiting striker Noah Okafor from AC Milan.

The two sides have almost agreed on a transfer fee of around 20 million euros and the deal is likely to move to the medical examination stage within the next 24 hours.

If all formalities are completed, Okafor will sign a contract until the summer of 2029, with an option to extend for a further year.

Since arriving at San Siro in the summer of 2023 from RB Salzburg, the 25-year-old striker has scored 7 goals in 39 appearances. He has also contributed 2 goals in 24 appearances for the Swiss national team.

Ben Doak officially joins Bournemouth.

Harvesting green rice, Liverpool pocketed more than 20 million euros

Bournemouth have announced the signing of Ben Doak from Liverpool for a fee of €29 million, including nearly €6 million in add-ons. The 19-year-old winger has also signed a five-year contract with the Vitality Stadium side.

Ben Doak came through the Celtic youth system before moving to Liverpool in 2022 for just under €700,000.

Immediately, this young star attracted attention when he became the youngest Scottish player to play in the Premier League, in Liverpool's 3-1 win over Aston Villa.

After two seasons at Anfield, Doak has only played a total of 10 matches for The Kop's first team and has yet to score a goal.

Bournemouth hope the Scotland international will be a worthy replacement for Dango Ouattara, who recently moved to Brentford for a fee of €43 million.

Ben Doak becomes the eighth player to leave Liverpool this summer, following Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Caoimhin Kelleher, Nat Phillips, Tyler Morton and Jarell Quansah. Despite the shopping spree, the Reds have already earned around €220 million from player sales.

Nkunku's move to Bayern falls into a deadlock

According to Sky Sports, negotiations between Bayern Munich and Chelsea over striker Christopher Nkunku are showing signs of reaching a deadlock as the two sides cannot agree on a transfer method.

While Bayern wanted to pay a loan fee for the 1997-born striker, with an option to buy at the end of the season, the Stamford Bridge team only agreed to sell outright.

Negotiations are expected to continue but there have been no further positive signals.

It is not impossible that the French star will have to sit out until the winter transfer window, in case he cannot find a new destination.

Galatasaray inquire about buying Akanji

According to Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Galatasaray has just expressed interest in buying Man City's central defender Manuel Akanji. However, the possibility of the Turkish football giant succeeding in this deal is not high.

Man City is said to have almost completed its squad for the new season, so coach Pep Guardiola has no intention of creating any personnel changes now that the Premier League has officially started.

In addition to the Belgian defender, Galatasaray also sent the Etihad team a 10 million euro offer for goalkeeper Ederson.

The Brazilian star was absent from Man City's opening match against Wolves but there is no further information on whether he will stay or go.

Leon Bailey undergoes medical at AS Roma

According to Sky Sports, Leon Bailey is very close to joining the Olimpico this summer. The Jamaican international is expected to fly to Rome soon to complete a medical before signing a contract with the maroon team.

To have the service of the striker born in 1997, AS Roma had to pay Aston Villa a loan fee of 3 million euros, with an option to buy at the end of the season for about 22 million euros.

Last season, Bailey played a total of 38 games for Aston Villa in all competitions and contributed 2 goals. After 4 years playing at Villa Park, the former Bayer Leverkusen player wanted to leave to find a new challenge.

Tottenham tie Romero

Tottenham's homepage announced that it has officially reached an agreement to extend the contract of center back Cristian Romero. The Argentine star will continue to play for Spurs under a contract that expires in the summer of 2029.

Romero's future has been a hot topic in North London, with reports suggesting the 27-year-old defender is on Atletico Madrid's radar and could be on the verge of a move to La Liga with just two years left on his Tottenham contract.

However, after talking to new coach Thomas Frank, Romero changed his mind. In addition to the new contract, the Tango player was also given the captain's armband left by Son Heung-min.
