On the afternoon of April 22, Tien Yen District Party Committee held a conference to review the work of inspection, supervision, and Party discipline enforcement for the 2020-2025 term and to review 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 19 - NQ/TU dated November 28, 2019 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on sustainable forestry development in Quang Ninh province to 2025, with a vision to 2030. Attending and directing the conference was comrade Ha Hai Duong, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

During the 2020-2025 term, the Tien Yen District Party Committee has closely followed the Party's regulations and the directions of the Central and the province to focus on leading, directing, and implementing the work of inspection, supervision, and enforcement of Party discipline, achieving many positive results. The work of disseminating, propagating, and implementing the regulations, directions, and instructions of the Central and the province has been fully, seriously, promptly, and effectively implemented. The inspection and supervision work has always been proactive and active; inspection and supervision have been strengthened in all fields, especially sensitive areas that are prone to violations (such as land management, investment, basic construction, personnel work, etc.). During the 2020-2025 term, Party committees and organizations at all levels in the entire District Party Committee have inspected 533 Party organizations and 1,548 Party members. In Tien Yen district, there are no Party organizations or Party members involved in cases and incidents monitored and directed by the Central and Provincial Steering Committees on anti-corruption, waste and negativity. Regarding thematic supervision, during the term, Party committees and Party organizations in the entire district Party Committee supervised 479 Party organizations and 1,709 Party members. Regarding disciplinary action against Party organizations and Party members, from 2020 to present, Party committees and Party organizations in the entire district Party Committee have considered disciplining 5 violating Party organizations in the form of reprimands and 122 violating cadres and Party members. 51/51 petitions of all kinds have been received and processed, reaching 100%. Through inspection and supervision, it has contributed to the fight to prevent and repel the degradation of political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, manifestations of "self-evolution, self-transformation" within the Party and the fight against corruption, waste and negativity; Uphold the principles, discipline and order of the Party, thereby contributing significantly to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the District and grassroots Party Congresses for the 2020-2025 term.

Over the past 5 years, the Tien Yen District Party Committee has actively and effectively implemented Resolution No. 19-NQ/TU dated November 28, 2019 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee "on sustainable forestry development in Quang Ninh province to 2025, with a vision to 2030" with many outstanding results. The Tien Yen District Party Committee has organized dissemination, study and propaganda of the resolution to all cadres, party members and people. The forest coverage rate from 2020-2023 in the district has reached over 60%; in 2024 alone, due to the impact of storm Yagi, the forest coverage rate was 49.06%. The growth rate of forestry production value in the period of 2021-2025 reached an average of 38.3%/year. In 5 years, the average timber output reached 173,000 m³/year or more, with a productivity of over 65-70 m³ of wood/ha. The area of ​​large timber forests in the district reached 1,241.91 ha, making the district one of the top localities in the province in terms of large timber forests.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and frankly raised a number of shortcomings and limitations in the work of inspection, supervision, Party discipline enforcement and the implementation of Resolution No. 19-NQ/TU dated November 28, 2019 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on sustainable forestry development in Quang Ninh province to 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Ha Hai Duong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Tien Yen District Party Committee in the work of inspection, supervision, and Party discipline enforcement for the 2020-2025 term and the leadership and direction of the implementation of Resolution No. 19-NQ/TU. He suggested that in the coming time, the District Party Committee continue to promote the role and responsibility in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of inspection, supervision, and Party discipline enforcement; pay attention to reviewing the apparatus and human resources, building a team of competent, courageous, impartial, and honest inspection officers; and associate the arrangement of inspection and supervision officers with the arrangement and formation of new administrative units. Continue to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of direction, consultation, organization and implementation of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement. Continue to pay attention to training and improving the professional qualifications and skills of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement for inspection officers at all levels to meet the requirements of the task.
