Integrating Zalo "Hanoi Traffic Police Department" with iHanoi application

According to the Hanoi City Police, when people send traffic violation reports via Zalo, the system will guide them to scan the QR code or access the link to send the report directly on iHanoi. People who have installed the application can send their reports in the "Reports and recommendations" section; those who have not installed the application will receive detailed instructions from the system. Reports from people via the iHanoi application will be forwarded to functional units under the City People's Committee, including the City Police, for inspection, verification, handling and response according to regulations.

This integration not only contributes to modernizing management work, but also promotes the people's supervisory role, promotes the application of technology in ensuring traffic order and safety and building civilized and modern urban areas.

Previously, from August 2023, Hanoi City Police deployed the Zalo OA page "Hanoi Traffic Police Department" to create a direct interaction channel between people and authorities.

In recent times, this Zalo channel has shown remarkable effectiveness, with nearly 82,000 interested accounts, receiving more than 16,000 reports from people. Of which, 4,758 reports had sufficient grounds to be verified and handled according to regulations. Through inspections, the authorities have drawn up records, fined 3,161 violations, collected more than 4 billion VND for the budget and temporarily detained 132 vehicles.
