Faced with the complicated situation of fires and explosions in residential areas, especially in boarding houses, rental houses and houses with many apartments (commonly known as mini apartments), the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 9 (Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, Hanoi City Police) has proactively organized a propaganda session to disseminate knowledge and skills on fire prevention and fighting to about 600 owners of boarding houses and rental houses in the wards of Vinh Tuy, Bach Mai, Hai Ba Trung under the unit's management.
Speaking at the conference, Major Nguyen Van Luong, Deputy Captain of Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 9, emphasized that boarding houses and rental houses with large populations pose a high risk of fire and explosion.
"Fire prevention and fighting is not only the responsibility of the authorities, but also an obligation and directly related to the safety of each facility and each household. Each landlord needs to be an active propagandist, raising awareness among tenants and proactively equipping them with necessary safety conditions," said Major Nguyen Van Luong.

The training helped raise awareness of the law and sense of responsibility of landlords in fire prevention and fighting. In addition, landlords and landlords were also given detailed instructions on the necessary skills in case of fire and practiced using specialized fire fighting equipment.
The propaganda session is also an opportunity for functional forces and facility owners to dialogue and directly answer questions in the process of implementing fire prevention and fighting work at the facility, contributing to ensuring the safety of life and property for tenants and maintaining general security and order in the area.
