Determining the 2 semi-final matches of the national U.9 tournament: Promising to be exciting

Today, August 21, at Tay Ninh Provincial Gymnasium, 4 quarter-final matches of the Toyota Cup 2025 National U.9 Football Tournament took place. Strong teams such as U.9 Hanoi Club, U.9 Viet Hung Thanh Hoa, U.9 SLNA and U.9 Van Tam Dong Nai have all affirmed their brands, registering their names to play in the semi-finals taking place on the afternoon of August 23.

The quarter-final match between U.9 Hanoi Police and U.9 Hanoi Club created an exciting match. Dang Khoi and Phuc Nguyen from U.9 Hanoi Police created many clear scoring opportunities for the home team.

Anh Nhat and Quang Anh of U.9 Hanoi Club also made the opponent's goal shake many times. After the first half ended with a score of 0-0. Right at the beginning of the second half, U.9 Hanoi Club quickly scored a goal to break the deadlock. Captain striker Anh Nhat had an accurate tap-in, opening the score 1-0 for the home team. Not willing to be outdone, Minh Khang immediately brought the match back to the starting line, helping U.9 Hanoi Police equalize 1-1.

But when they had just found the equalizer, the game was balanced, U.9 Cong An Ha Noi suddenly received a disadvantage in terms of points. From a situation where U.9 Ha Noi Club was blocking the ball, defender Khoi Vi accidentally headed the ball into his own net, helping the opposing team take the lead 2-1. And this was also the final score of this match.

In the second quarter-final match, U.9 Thuan An Binh Duong unexpectedly let U.9 Viet Hung Thanh Hoa score two early goals by Long Dang and Gia Khanh. In the second half, coach Cao Xuan Quang's team only managed to score one goal by Quoc Khang.

In the end, U.9 Viet Hung Thanh Hoa defeated U.9 Thuan An Binh Duong 2-1 and entered the semi-finals.

In the third quarterfinal match between U.9 Ban Me Ngoc Hung and U9 SLNA, the final score of 2-1 was repeated. In the final quarterfinal match between U.9 Van Tam Dong Nai and U.9 Phu Tho, the two teams maintained an open game throughout the two regular halves. U.9 Phu Tho lost with a score of 1-3.
