Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that in recent times, although the world and regional situation has had many difficulties and challenges, negatively affecting the domestic situation, thanks to the efforts of the entire Party, army and people, the country has achieved many important achievements in the socio-economic fields.

The Prime Minister affirmed that the country's overall achievements include important contributions from monks in general and the Khmer Theravada sect in particular.

The Prime Minister stated that in the current context, hostile forces are always looking for ways to divide and sabotage the great national unity bloc, therefore the Party Committee, government and Fatherland Front of Tra Vinh province need to heighten vigilance and propagate so that Buddhists are not taken advantage of; operate in accordance with the purpose and principles, contributing to maintaining social order and security.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the Party and State always strive for the prosperity and happiness of the people in general, protect human rights, freedom of belief and religion of the people; in which they pay attention and care for Buddhists of the Khmer Theravada sect.

He hopes that the Tra Vinh Province Buddhist Monks Solidarity Association and the Khmer Theravada sect will promote historical traditions and contribute more to the cause of national construction and defense.

On the occasion of the Sene Dolta festival, the Prime Minister sent his regards, best wishes, and respectful greetings from General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to Khmer Theravada Buddhists; hoping that the Tra Vinh Province Buddhist Monks Solidarity Association will actively participate in the construction and development of the country in general and Tra Vinh Province in particular; and strengthen solidarity.

The Prime Minister congratulated and wished the monks, Buddhists, and Khmer people prosperity, peace, and an increasingly prosperous and happy life. He also expressed his joy knowing that the Party Committee, government, and Fatherland Front of Tra Vinh province always take the best care of the material and spiritual life of the people.

At Tra Vinh University, Kinh and Khmer children are educated and inspired with the spirit of love for their homeland and country, and the spirit of great national unity.

Thanking the Party and State leaders for their attention to religious work in general and the Khmer Theravada sect in particular, Most Venerable Thach Sok Xane, Vice President of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Tra Vinh province, and President of the Solidarity Association of Buddhist Monks and Monks in Tra Vinh province, expressed his excitement at the development of his province.

Many infrastructure projects have been invested in, thereby contributing significantly to socio-economic development and improving people's lives. He also hopes that the Party and State will continue to pay attention to and support Tra Vinh in developing and renovating religious works, many of which are ranked as national monuments.

The Prime Minister acknowledged the opinions of Venerable Thach Sok Xane; directed the Party Committee and authorities at all levels of Tra Vinh province to increase attention, care, and create favorable conditions for the restoration of worshiping places in the province, contributing to strengthening the great solidarity of religions.
