According to the Award Organizing Committee, although it was held for the first time, the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism Award attracted the participation of many journalists from press agencies from central to local levels.

The Organizing Committee received 172 works in various categories including: 37 printed works, 51 visual works, 28 audio works and 56 electronic works. The participants of the Award are members of the Provincial Journalists Association, reporters and editors from the provincial press and propaganda agencies. In particular, the Award also attracted many works from authors and groups of authors from central press agencies and representative offices of central press agencies located in the province.

In general, the participating works are rich in topics, covering quite comprehensively political, economic, cultural and social issues; focusing on vividly, objectively and truthfully reflecting the achievements, typical models, breakthroughs and creative ways of Thai Nguyen province in implementing the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels.

Works reflecting on the work of Party building and protecting the Party's ideological foundation have high discovery and criticism qualities, drawing many good lessons, clearly demonstrating the leadership role of Party committees, Party cells and Party members. Speaking at the Program, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Award Organizing Committee Le Quang Tien affirmed: The great achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen province have achieved over the past time, have had a great contribution from the central news agencies and press as well as the local press. Journalists, reporters, members and journalists do not hesitate to face difficulties and hardships, always keeping close to the breath of life. From there, they create journalistic works that objectively, truthfully and comprehensively reflect all aspects of economic and social life.

The 1st Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism Award of Thai Nguyen Province - 2024, honoring outstanding award-winning works, once again affirms the contributions and companionship of the team of journalists to the cause of building and developing Thai Nguyen province to become increasingly rich and civilized, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals of the Resolution of the 20th Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress.

The Organizing Committee has awarded the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism Award, Thai Nguyen Province, for the first time to 37 excellent works in 4 types of journalism (including: print, television, radio and electronic newspapers).
