The People's Committee of Ha Hoa district has just issued Document No. 1375/UBND-KTHT requesting the District Economic and Infrastructure Department and the two communes of Am Ha and Phuong Vien to carry out investment procedures and establish the Am Ha Industrial Cluster, Ha Hoa district.
The document clearly states that the People's Committees of Am Ha and Phuong Vien communes will organize the preparation of a project to locally adjust the general construction planning of the two communes for the period 2021-2030, according to the scope of administrative management boundaries (to be completed before September 30).
The People's Committee of Ha Hoa district also requested the Economic and Infrastructure Department of the district to preside over the appraisal and approval of the planning to ensure quality, compliance with regulations and progress; coordinate with the People's Committees of the above two communes and departments, offices and units according to their functions and tasks on the establishment of Am Ha Industrial Cluster and selection of investors to build technical infrastructure.

Industrial and handicraft development has been a focus of Ha Hoa district in recent years. In 2023, despite many difficulties, many wood processing establishments in the district have tried to maintain production, ensuring jobs for workers (mostly in Am Ha and Phuong Vien communes). The whole district produced 20,642 tons of paper, 357,852 cubic meters of wood, plywood, 115,429 wooden chopsticks bags...
Currently, the wood processing industry in Ha Hoa district has many products, mainly: Paper, pulp, chips, peeled boards, sawn boards, household furniture, planks... However, wood processing facilities are mainly small-scale and spontaneous, easily "vulnerable" when lacking raw materials or lacking product output.

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Pham Quoc Dai - Chairman of Am Ha Commune People's Committee - shared that Am Ha Industrial Cluster is expected to have a scale of 60 hectares. When the industrial cluster is built, small-scale wood processing facilities will be able to concentrate, operate more systematically and will not affect the environment...
The establishment of the industrial cluster will be an opportunity for the wood processing industry to restructure towards modernity and sustainable development. It will create conditions to attract large-scale enterprises to invest in advanced technology, produce key products, create competitive advantages, and affirm the position of the local wood processing industry.
