The world's prestigious aviation rating and ranking organization Skytrax has just announced the ranking of the Top 100 best airports in the world in 2025.
Accordingly, Noi Bai International Airport (HKQT) has risen to 79th place, up 17 places compared to 2024 (in 2024 Noi Bai International Airport was at 96th place). In this ranking, Vietnam has two representatives, Noi Bai International Airport and Da Nang International Airport, both belonging to the Airports Corporation of Vietnam - JSC (ACV).
The year 2024 marks many challenges for Noi Bai International Airport as it must both ensure continuous operations and partially close to construct the T2 Terminal Expansion Project.
This is the 7th time that Noi Bai International Airport - the important international gateway of Hanoi Capital - has been honored in the prestigious Skytrax rankings.
Strengthening the application of information technology in flight operations management, implementing the model of Coordination of operations at airports and seaports (A-CDM) to increase operational efficiency, improve punctuality index, and save aircraft fuel.
The year 2024 marks many challenges for Noi Bai International Airport as it must ensure continuous operations while partially closing to construct the T2 Terminal Expansion Project. Under these conditions, the Airport and its operating units still take advantage of every opportunity to improve service quality: from renovating passenger service spaces, organizing cultural and artistic activities right at the airport on holidays and Tet, to enhancing the application of information technology in flight operations, implementing the Airport Operations Management model (A-CDM) to increase operational efficiency, improve punctuality, and save aircraft fuel.
The port and its operating units still take advantage of every opportunity to improve service quality: from renovating passenger service spaces to organizing cultural and artistic activities right at the airport during holidays and Tet.
Continuously improve the service attitude of frontline staff serving passengers.
In particular, the implementation of the non-stop toll collection system at all lanes entering and exiting passenger terminals T1 and T2 has contributed to creating a smooth and convenient environment for passengers. Review and add many convenient services such as: phone charging, free wifi, children's play area, child care area; ensure infrastructure for the disabled; constantly improve the service attitude of frontline staff serving passengers; consolidate and enhance the activities of the Action Committee for the quality of passenger service at the Port...
Thanks to proactive and synchronous solutions, Noi Bai International Airport has ensured absolute safety and security for more than 30 million passengers in 2024, while recording strong growth in international visitors in the first quarter of 2025 with many international flights opened, connecting Noi Bai and international destinations.

Previously, Noi Bai International Airport was in the Top 100 best airports in the world 6 times in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2024.
The World Airport Awards began in 1999, when Skytrax conducted its first global airport customer satisfaction survey. The awards are considered a quality benchmark for airports worldwide, assessing customer service and facilities at more than 500 airports.
