President Luong Cuong went to Noi Bai International Airport to welcome General Secretary and President Xi Jinping and the high-ranking Chinese delegation. The State visit to Vietnam is also the first foreign trip of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping in 2025.
During the visit to Vietnam by General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, the two sides are expected to hold many important activities and sign many cooperation documents in a range of fields.

This is the second state visit of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping to Vietnam during his third term.
As China's leader, Xi Jinping has visited Vietnam four times, including once when he was Vice President in December 2011.
General Secretary and President Xi Jinping's visit to Vietnam took place at a time when the two countries celebrated the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2025) and the Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year 2025.
