At the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, Samsung teased a tri-fold smartphone. Samsung didn't mention this unique device, only referring to it as "multi-fold" in passing, but it clearly confirmed that the company is working on devices with even larger screens.

The mention of a triple-folding smartphone came as Samsung talked about its XR plans, including a new virtual reality headset codenamed Project Moohan that the company is developing with Google and Qualcomm. The South Korean tech giant has also revealed plans to develop smart glasses.
There have been rumors that Samsung will expand its foldable lineup with a triple-folding smartphone, which was inevitable after its rival Huawei recently officially launched a similar device.
Recent rumors also suggest that we could see the device launch as early as this year, possibly alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 duo this summer.
Samsung didn't provide any further details about this tri-fold smartphone, but according to recent rumors, the device will be up to 10 inches in size when opened.
