Key foreign affairs tasks in 2025 include: Thoroughly grasping and implementing the Central and provincial directives on foreign affairs; international integration and economic diplomacy; cultural diplomacy; foreign information work and management of information and press activities of foreign reporters in the locality; people's diplomacy, etc.

Notably, it is necessary to continue to monitor and complete the dossier for appraisal and approval of the boundary of the Nam Giang International Border Gate Economic Zone in 2025, in order to have a basis for continuing to adjust the planning and invest in the construction of the Nam Giang International Border Gate Economic Zone to soon become a comprehensive economic zone, an important gateway of the key economic region of the Central region connecting with Southern Laos, Northeastern Thailand and becoming a driving force for the development of the Western Quang Nam region in the coming time.

Effectively implement the Pilot Program to send workers from Quang Nam province to work seasonally in Korea under the form of cooperation between localities (district level) of Quang Nam province and localities (county level) of Korea for the period 2024 - 2027.
