The second Lai Chau City Culture, Sports and Tourism Week was held to introduce and promote the land and people of Lai Chau City to visitors from near and far. According to the Organizing Committee, the 2nd Lai Chau City Culture, Sports and Tourism Week in 2024 is a political event to introduce, promote, stimulate and attract tourists to Lai Chau city, contributing to promoting the city's tourism development in 2024 and the following years.

This is a practical activity to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Lai Chau town (now Lai Chau city) and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Lai Chau city Party Committee and the meeting of the Northwest urban cluster held in Lai Chau city.
