Dien Bien TV - On April 26, the Party Committee of the Department of Justice of Dien Bien province held the 16th Congress, term 2025-2030. Attending the congress were comrade Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of branches and Party Committees under the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.

In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the Department of Justice has led and directed the comprehensive completion of assigned political tasks; 7/7 target groups achieved and exceeded the Resolution set by the Congress; 29 legal documents were issued; 340 documents were appraised and more than 1,200 drafts were commented on. With more than 2,000 grassroots propagandists, the quality and effectiveness of legal education and dissemination work have been improved; legal aid activities, property auctions, notarization, judicial records, household registration, etc. have all developed in both quality and quantity.

During the term, the Party Committee admitted 16 new members. The Party Committee always maintained internal discipline and solidarity; no Party members violated or were disciplined. The study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style were implemented synchronously, creating positive changes throughout the Party Committee.

For the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the Department of Justice sets out 8 main targets, 7 key tasks and many specific solutions for implementation.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The Congress of the Party Committee of the Department of Justice was selected by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee to organize a model Congress; this is an important political event, an opportunity for each Party member to demonstrate their determination to build an increasingly clean and strong Party Committee; contribute together with the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province to ensure security - politics, social order - safety; maintain national border sovereignty and promote socio-economic development. Basically agreeing with the direction, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term set forth by the Congress, he suggested that the Congress focus on studying and implementing a number of key tasks in the new term.

The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee for the 16th term, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 7 comrades; elected a delegation of 5 comrades to attend the Congress at a higher level. At the first conference, the Party Executive Committee of the Department of Justice for the 2025 - 2030 term elected the positions of Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; elected the Party Inspection Committee and elected the Chairman of the Party Inspection Committee. Comrade Tran Thanh Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee of the 15th term of the Department of Justice, continued to be elected by the Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee for the 16th term, 2025 - 2030 term.

The new Executive Committee was introduced at the Congress.

Also at the Congress, delegates participated in discussions and gave opinions to gain experience to continue successfully organizing Party Congresses at branches and Party Committees under the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee in the coming time.
