On the morning of August 7, 2024, at Km 28 National Highway 1A, in Nhan Ly commune, Chi Lang district - Lang Son province, the Chi Lang district working group, Market Management Team No. 4 coordinated with the Road Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 - Traffic Police Department, Lang Son Provincial Police to inspect a 7-seat car, INOVA brand, license plate 98A-026.04, driven by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hien, born in 1982, with address Doi Che Hamlet, Hoang Dong commune, Lang Son city, Lang Son province, traveling in the direction of Hanoi - Lang Son.

At the time of inspection, the Working Group discovered two types of goods manufactured outside of Vietnam (foreign words printed on the goods) hidden in the passenger compartment of the car, specifically: 87 Ipad tablets with a capacity of 32GB; 60 Iphone 6S Plus mobile phones, with a capacity of 64GB. Through the investigation and work, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hien, the person directly driving the vehicle, could not present invoices, documents proving the legal origin of the import and other papers related to all of the above goods. The value of the above goods is about 100 million VND.

Violations

Market Management Team No. 4 temporarily detained and sealed all goods on the same vehicle to continue coordinating with relevant units to inspect and classify goods with signs of violations to serve as a basis for handling according to regulations.
