Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Hong Dien, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade; comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang, member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and nearly 200 union members and exemplary workers.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien emphasized that in the context of deep integration and strong digital transformation, the working class has become a pioneering force in innovation, improving skills and political capacity; trade unions are a bridge between the Party, the government and workers; actively taking care of the material and spiritual life, protecting the legitimate rights of workers, especially vulnerable groups such as female workers and those working in toxic environments.

At the same time, the Minister requested that in the coming time, the entire industry and trade sector continue to promote the improvement of working conditions, proactively prevent occupational accidents and diseases, and build a safe and modern working environment. This is not only a social responsibility but also a driving force to attract and retain good workers, contributing to the sustainable growth of the country's economy.

Delegates visited the collective kitchen for workers of Lam Thao Super Phosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company.

President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang acknowledged and commended the proactiveness and creativity of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade in organizing many diverse and practical activities for workers on the occasion of Workers' Month 2025.

At the same time, it emphasized the pioneering role of the working class in the process of innovation and integration, affirming that Vietnamese workers need to continue to promote their mettle, intelligence, innovation and creativity to join the country in entering a new era of development.

The President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requested the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade to continue promoting propaganda and raising awareness of occupational safety and hygiene; taking care of the lives and jobs of workers; widely launching creative labor emulation movements, promoting initiatives and technical improvements, and at the same time accompanying businesses to overcome difficulties, stabilize production and develop sustainably.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade commended and rewarded 40 individuals who are "exemplary workers in the industry and trade sector" in 2025; awarded 10 "Trade Union Shelters" to four units; and presented gifts of gratitude to 50 union members and workers in difficult circumstances and those who had work-related accidents.
