On the very first day of the April 30-May 1 holiday, Tan Trao National Special Relic Site welcomed a sudden increase in the number of tourists compared to previous years, with about 44,000 visitors.

According to Mr. Vien Ngoc Tan, Deputy Director of Tan Trao Museum, this year the holiday is long, combined with a series of events of Tuyen Quang Province Tourism Year 2025, so the relic site has built many new and attractive tourism products with the first launch of the tour "Old War Zone - New Experience"; while continuing to emphasize nostalgic tourism, associated with the historical values ​​hidden in each relic.

Tan Trao Special National Monument offers a variety of tourism products to attract visitors.

Lighting an incense stick at Tan Trao communal house, the veterans of the 83rd Naval Engineering Regiment could not help but be moved by the memories of the past war. And even happier, seeing their revolutionary homeland changing day by day.

“Every five years, we return to Tan Trao to gather and reminisce about old memories. For soldiers like us, peace is precious, because it was exchanged for the blood and bones of our comrades. Every time I visit our revolutionary homeland, seeing the people’s lives improving makes me very excited,” said Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thanh Tu, former Political Commissar of the 83rd Naval Engineering Brigade.

Among the tourists returning to the "Capital of Resistance" are many groups of students. This shows that the younger generation is increasingly interested in national history, learning about their roots, to better understand the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations. Thereby, fostering gratitude, pride and love for the homeland.

Not only learning about history, students also have the opportunity to experience traditional cultural activities of the Tay people such as: pounding rice, planting rice, weaving, fishing, making rustic dishes... through the exciting journey of the tour "Old war zone - new experience".

“Tours to the source are increasingly showing their appeal if they know how to invest and diversify accompanying tourism products. We believe that this innovation will attract many tourists to visit, especially the younger generation. Thereby, we can both educate about revolutionary traditions and the morality of “remembering the source of water when drinking water”, and promote culture and increase income for ethnic minorities here”, said Deputy Director of Tan Trao Museum Vien Ngoc Tan.
