Bun bo Hue, a famous spicy noodle dish from Hue city, ranked 53rd. The dish has a broth made from beef and pork bones, combined with lemongrass, shrimp paste and chili to create a rich, spicy flavor. Side dishes often include beef brisket, crab cakes and many types of raw vegetables.

Beef stew ranks 28th on the list. The dish is often served with bread or rice noodles, and consists of beef, carrots, etc. cooked in a rich broth. When eaten, beef stew is often sprinkled with green onions, coriander, and other herbs.

Grilled ribs and broken rice, a popular breakfast dish in Southern Vietnam, ranked 75th. The dish consists of grilled ribs placed on broken rice, served with pickles, scallion oil and sweet and sour fish sauce.

In the list of "Top 100 best breakfasts in the world" announced in April, TasteAtlas recorded 40,849 reviews, of which 23,691 were confirmed by the system as valid.

Topping the list is kahvaltı - a traditional Turkish breakfast that includes a variety of items such as cheese, olives, pastries, vegetables, eggs and tea.

Coming in second was Serbian komplet lepinja, a flatbread sandwiched with thick cream, eggs and a rich meat sauce. Sfinz – Libyan deep-fried pastries, often served with honey or fried eggs – came in third.
