Minister Nguyen Van Hung was awarded the First Class Labor Medal.

On the morning of August 23, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025). General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh awarded the First Class Labor Medal to Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung.

Previously, in Decision No. 1676/QD-CTN dated August 22, 2025, President Luong Cuong decided to award the First Class Labor Medal to Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, for his outstanding achievements in directing and operating the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to effectively carry out political tasks, achieving many important and outstanding results in the fields of culture, sports and tourism in the period 2021 - 2025.
