Opera users (as well as users of competing browsers) can now enter to win a week-long trip to a lonely island in Iceland, with the winner receiving a $10,000 prize, Neowin reports.

The reward is part of a promotional campaign for the Tab Islands feature.

The choice of location is no coincidence, as Opera is promoting one of the latest additions to its feature set: Tab Islands. This feature allows websites opened in the tab bar to be grouped and collapsed into a single tab. This is very useful, especially for those who often open multiple tabs in their browser windows.

Beyond the marketing push for Tab Islands, there’s not much to say about the new campaign. If you’re interested in the promotional offer and don’t mind traveling to Iceland for some time off, you can sign up on Opera’s website.

The winner will receive $10,000, a round-trip ticket to Iceland’s capital Reykjavik, and free transportation to the island home of Bjarnarey. Notably, the prize also includes free seven-day accommodation for two, meaning the winner won’t be completely alone.

There are no specific requirements for the winner, but entrants must answer a question about their thoughts on Tabfulness — a term used extensively in Opera’s marketing communications. The company says it will choose the winner based on the creativity of the answer. Additionally, applicants must participate in an interview with the Opera team before being officially declared the winner.

The contest ends on February 25, Opera will announce the winner 4 days later on X (Twitter).
