The Cai Rang 110kV substation and connecting line project was built in Thuong Thanh ward, Cai Rang district, started construction in October 2024, and has basically completed all items, energized and accepted according to schedule.

This project has a total capacity of 2x63MVA, with a total investment of over 110 billion VND, invested by EVNSPC. This project helps improve the reliability of continuous power supply, meeting the increasing load demand in the key industrial development area of ​​Cai Rang district and neighboring areas of Can Tho city.

Speaking at the ceremony of energizing and accepting the Cai Rang 110kV substation and connecting line, EVNSPC leaders acknowledged and praised the determination and efficiency of the construction unit for increasing the construction shifts, including on holidays and days off... At the same time, EVNSPC leaders directly inspected and monitored the construction progress at the construction site every week to promptly resolve problems and difficulties as well as urge the construction unit to concentrate on doing a good job at the construction site... With those efforts, up to now, the Cai Rang 110kV substation and connecting line have been energized according to the set plan.

This is one of the key projects of EVNSPC, responding to the 90-day and night emulation movement "Completing the energization of 50 110kV power grid projects", practically celebrating the 50th anniversary of EVNSPC "Building - Developing - Lighting up trust", welcoming the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification and registering and placing a welcome sign for the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of Vietnam Electricity Group, term 2025-2030.
