Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control (HCDC) has issued a series of recommendations to ensure the safety of people when participating in festival events. These events attract a large number of people and tourists, posing many potential risks to health, security and order, so preparation and attention are needed to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
People need to monitor weather forecasts and dress appropriately. |
To ensure good health when attending the event, people should eat and drink well before coming, bring water and snacks to maintain energy. At the same time, wash your hands regularly to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. If you feel dizzy, nauseous or uncomfortable, you should immediately notify people around you or the authorities for timely support.
In addition, people need to monitor weather forecasts and wear appropriate clothing; bring raincoats, small umbrellas and warm clothes to prevent sudden changes in weather. Children need to be kept warm and covered when changing clothes, especially in cold and rainy conditions.
Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Van Ngoc, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Respiratory Association, said that hot weather combined with sudden changes can make the body susceptible to respiratory infections, especially for young children, the elderly and those with underlying diseases. High temperatures also increase the risk of dehydration and heat stroke, so people need to drink enough water, especially when participating in outdoor events.
Dr. Ngoc also emphasized that people with flu symptoms should wear masks when participating in crowded events such as parades and marches to limit the spread of disease and protect their own health and that of the community.
To avoid getting lost, authorities recommend that people take photos of family members for easy identification. In addition, write the names and phone numbers of relatives on children's bags and use text messages or social media to communicate instead of calling, as mobile service can be overloaded; also agree on a common meeting place in case of failure to contact.
In addition, it is necessary to carefully preserve personal belongings and property. Keep an eye on children and teach them to remember their parents' phone numbers. Avoid jostling, pushing, causing disorder and comply with security regulations and instructions from the authorities. If jostling or dangerous pushing occurs, quickly leave the crowd, go with the flow, avoid falling and stay calm.
