The book Letter to the South is a collection of letters and telegrams sent by comrade Le Duan to the leaders of the Southern battlefield from 1961 to 1975. The book's content reflects the vivid revolutionary reality along with the talented leadership of the Party Central Committee.
Through specific instructions from assessing the situation to proposing directions for the struggle, the book clearly demonstrates the Vietnamese revolutionary war path, especially the combination of political struggle and armed struggle according to the motto of "two legs", "three prongs", "three regions". The book is not only a valuable historical document but also contributes to fostering patriotism and fostering revolutionary will for the younger generation.

Meanwhile, The Final White House Papers: The Fall of the Republic of Vietnam provides an American perspective on the final days of the Saigon government.
The book consists of two main parts: the first part is top secret US documents declassified in 2015, including minutes of National Security Council meetings chaired by US President Gerald Ford and reports and documents on the situation in Vietnam at that time. The second part includes memoirs of US generals, recording the whole scene of chaos during the evacuation from Saigon in April 1975, exposing the bitter defeat of the US army and the Republic of Vietnam government.
Half a century has passed since the sacred historical moment of the country at noon on April 30, 1975, but the events and incidents that happened around and at that time are still deeply imprinted in the hearts of the Vietnamese people, the people of the world as well as in the US political world.
The Truth National Political Publishing House, in collaboration with the Oriental Development Research Institute under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, organized the publication of the book The Final Minutes at the White House: The Minutes of the Fall of the Republic of Vietnam, translated by Ngo Bac. There is a lot of information revealed for the first time.
Both books have great historical value, helping readers better understand the context, developments and significance of the Great Victory of Spring 1975. These documents not only recreate the heroic past of the nation but also serve as a reminder of the heroic sacrifices of many previous generations to gain independence and unify the country.
