Opening of Indian Film Week in Phu Yen

On the afternoon of April 15, at Hung Dao Cinema (Tuy Hoa City), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City organized the opening ceremony of the Indian Film Week in Phu Yen. This is a meaningful cultural activity, contributing to strengthening the friendly and cooperative relationship between Phu Yen and India; at the same time, opening up opportunities for exchange and mutual understanding of culture and people between the two sides.

Attending the event were Mr. Vipra Pandey, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai My, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; representatives of the Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam - India Friendship Association of the province, KCP Vietnam Industrial Company Limited and a large number of Phu Yen Youth Union members.

The film week takes place from April 15-21, with 4 selected special films: Female wrestler , Free roar , English , and Live only once . The films are shown twice a day, during the day and at night, each showing lasting from 2 to 2 hours and 30 minutes. Specifically: From April 16-18, there will be showings at 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.; from April 19-21, there will be shows at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The event not only gives Phu Yen audiences the opportunity to enjoy cinematic stories rich in humanity and imbued with Indian cultural identity, but is also a lively and effective bridge to promote the image, national spirit, as well as the modern and vibrant lifestyle of India closer to the Vietnamese public.
