In recent years, implementing the policies of the Party and the Government, Quang Binh province has made important strides in the digital transformation process. The province has issued and deployed a series of strategic directives such as Resolution No. 07 on digital transformation of Quang Binh province, Action Program No. 38 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation... Telecommunications and information technology infrastructure continues to be invested; a number of online public services are deployed; digitalization applications in the fields of health, education and tourism have initially had positive results. However, compared to development requirements, the progress of digital transformation of Quang Binh province is still slow, unsynchronized and has not met expectations.

In order to promote the digital transformation process in the area, at the ceremony, the leaders of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province and Viettel signed a cooperation agreement with 14 contents, focusing on cooperation in deploying digital infrastructure, digital government, digital economy and digital society, building a model of "Digital Party - Digital Government" at the provincial level in Quang Binh.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, comrade Le Ngoc Quang affirmed: The signing ceremony is an important foundation in the cooperative relationship between Quang Binh and Viettel, aiming to realize the Quang Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. The Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee hopes that Viettel will continue to accompany and support Quang Binh province to become one of the localities that quickly make breakthroughs in digital transformation, making digital technology a driving force for socio-economic development.
