The event attracted representatives from six famous literary magazines, including Nhat Le Magazine, Cua Viet Magazine, Song Huong Magazine, Xu Thanh Magazine, Song Lam Magazine, and Hong Linh Magazine. In addition, the conference was attended by delegates from departments and agencies of Quang Binh province, scientists, artists, and many journalists and media workers in the region.

The Importance of Local Culture and Tourism opened the conference. Sculptor Phan Dinh Tien, Chairman of the Quang Binh Literature and Arts Association, emphasized the importance of combining local culture and tourism, especially through literary and artistic publications. He shared, “Literature and art are not only a place to preserve national cultural values, but also an effective tool in promoting the image of the homeland to friends at home and abroad.”

Continuing the program, Writer Nguyen Thi Le Na, Editor-in-Chief of Nhat Le Magazine, gave an in-depth presentation on solutions to improve the effectiveness of tourism promotion through literary and artistic magazines. She emphasized that literary and artistic works not only reflect natural beauty but also contribute to honoring the cultural and historical values ​​of each region. From there, they contribute significantly to promoting tourism development, creating opportunities for visitors to experience and explore.

Another highlight of the conference was the presentation by writer Hoang Thuy Anh, who presented her views on integrating literary works into tourism programs. She proposed that literary works, from short stories, novels to poetry, can become rich materials for building literary-themed tours, thereby creating a special attraction for tourists who love culture.

Artist Tran Huong, Vice President of the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association, also shared his experiences in organizing photo contests about tourist attractions. He emphasized that, “Each photo is not only a work of art but also a message conveying the beauty of the country and its people to tourists.”

Artist Ho Thanh Tho, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Cua Viet Magazine, in his presentation, offered specific solutions on using paintings to promote historical sites and cultural destinations. Mr. Tho shared, “The art of painting has the ability to convey emotions and stories vividly, creating a strong connection between the viewer and the place depicted.”

Dr. Nguyen Khac Thai, with his extensive research, has brought new perspectives on the combination of science and art in tourism development. He proposed modern methods to optimize tourism potential through exploiting local cultural values ​​in a sustainable and effective manner.

The workshop ended in a lively discussion atmosphere, with many opinions and solutions being proposed. All speeches and discussions will be sent to managers and authorities for research and practical application, aiming to develop the tourism industry of Quang Binh province in particular and the Central provinces in general. This event is not only an opportunity for literary magazines to share experiences and ideas, but also an important first step for future cooperation projects between literature and tourism, aiming at the goal of sustainable development, while enhancing the cultural and economic values ​​of the locality.
