Eagerly awaiting the Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival, gardeners and production facilities are urgently preparing quality goods to introduce to consumers.

The Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival is an opportunity for establishments to promote their products and brands.

Tra Son Cooperative (Can Loc) is one of the “famous” farms in the “capital” of Thuong Loc oranges. The Cooperative is currently cooperating in production and consuming products for many households in communes in the Tra Son area with over 100 hectares of orange production land. This is also the unit chosen by Can Loc district to participate in the Orange Festival and Ha Tinh agricultural products in recent years.

This year, when the district announced the festival plan, the cooperative registered a booth. The cooperative is focusing on preparations to participate in the festival this weekend.

Tra Son Cooperative participates in the Red River Delta - Hai Phong Industry and Trade Fair in 2023.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa - representative of Tra Son Cooperative shared: “Just returning from the 2023 Red River Delta - Hai Phong Industry and Trade Fair on November 20, we are busy preparing for the orange festival. The cooperative's products are known to consumers under the Xuan Hoa Thuong Loc crispy orange brand, which has been certified with 4-star OCOP and produced according to VietFarm standards. Currently, Xuan Hoa oranges are available in most provinces and cities across the country. Despite the high price, in previous years' participation in the orange festival, lemon oranges and crispy oranges have been trusted and chosen by many people. From the experience of participating in previous years, we plan to bring about 3 tons to the festival to introduce to people and tourists".

Realizing the effectiveness and benefits of participating in the Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival in previous years, this year, Son Yen orange farm (Phuc Dong commune, Huong Khe) has registered 1 booth.

This year, the orange output of Son Yen orange farm is estimated to reach nearly 25 tons.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Son - owner of Son Yen orange farm said: “We currently have about 2 hectares of oranges and lemons, this year the estimated output is nearly 25 tons. At this time, the oranges are ripe, we have harvested and brought to the market about 300 kg of oranges. Participating in the Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival is an opportunity that we cannot miss to promote the Huong Khe orange brand to consumers. It is expected that on the first day, we will bring about 200-300 kg of oranges to the festival, depending on consumption, we will transport more. There are years when we sell more than 2 tons of oranges at the festival. Hopefully this year Son Yen oranges will continue to be chosen by many customers”.

Chin Hong ham and sausage establishment (Hung Tri ward, Ky Anh town) is a “new face” participating in the Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival this year. Therefore, the preparation work was carried out carefully and thoroughly by the establishment.

This year is the first time Chin Hong ham facility has participated in the Ha Tinh orange and agricultural product festival, so the facility is very excited.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong - the owner of the facility said: The facility's ham products were certified with 3-star OCOP in April 2023, thanks to which, many people trust and the market has expanded. This year is the first year participating in the orange festival, so we are very excited. In addition to ham products, the facility also brings to the festival many products such as sausages, smoked ham, boneless ham, ham... With careful preparation, we hope that through the Ha Tinh orange and agricultural product festival, the Chin Hong ham brand will be known to many consumers, thereby increasing product consumption.

The Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival is an annual event that many orange growers and production facilities in the province look forward to. Because the festival is an opportunity to introduce, promote, consume products and find potential customers. Even though it is the end of the year, many production facilities are busy producing goods for Tet and still want to bring their products to the festival.

This year, Chien Thang Seafood Purchasing and Processing Cooperative (Ky Ninh Commune, Ky Anh Town) will bring to the festival fish sauce, shrimp paste, jellyfish...

Mr. Truong Van Thuan - Director of the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion (under the Department of Industry and Trade) said: “The Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival is an opportunity for production establishments, cooperatives, and enterprises to introduce, promote, and honor the Ha Tinh orange brand and agricultural products and specialties of the province to consumers. After having the province's plan, the Department of Industry and Trade notified localities and units to register booths to participate and prepare goods. Up to now, the units have completed the registration of the number of booths and the list of participating establishments. Currently, the Department of Industry and Trade is continuing to carry out preparations for the festival”.
