DTO - During the recent April 30 and May 1 holidays, tourist areas and spots in Dong Thap province focused on refurbishing and preparing conditions to serve the sightseeing and tourism needs of visitors from near and far.
Tourists visit Happy Land Hung Thy Amusement Park (Sa Dec City)
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Thap, during the 5-day holiday (from April 30 to May 4, 2025), the province welcomed over 112,000 visitors to visit, experience and use tourism services (down 5.86% compared to the same period last year); total revenue from tourism in the whole province reached over 13.5 billion VND.
At Happy Land Hung Thy Amusement Park (Sa Dec City), about 1,000 visitors from near and far came to visit and travel. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung - owner of Happy Land Hung Thy Amusement Park, shared: "To ensure serving the needs of visitors, the unit has proactively designed new miniature landscapes; increased the service staff. Along with that, well prepared to promote the province's typical products, OCOP...".
Many tourists visit Xeo Quit relic site (Cao Lanh district) during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
According to the Management Board of Xeo Quit Relic Site (located in My Hiep and My Long communes, Cao Lanh district), during the 5 days of the April 30 and May 1 holidays, the "People's Base" area had more than 18,000 visitors; an increase of 447.43% over the same period in 2024. At the relic site, visitors can visit secret tunnels, display areas of artifacts, experience boat rides or walking under the green cajuput forest canopy, visit the agricultural tourism experience space... At the same time, visitors also have the opportunity to watch water hyacinth weaving performances and experience and enjoy local rustic dishes at the Xeo Quit rural market, shop for souvenirs, many OCOP products of Dong Thap province...
