Concluding the meeting, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung acknowledged and commended the agencies and units that had advised and directly implemented the assigned contents and tasks well. Recently, together with the whole country, the province has organized many activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and International Labor Day May 1, which have many meanings to create a new momentum in the socio-economic development of the province, especially in preparation for the merger of An Giang and Kien Giang provinces.

Although there are many activities and events taking place on a large scale, in the province, issues of border security, political security, social order and safety are maintained, the number of traffic accidents has decreased compared to the same period. In the past time, the province has focused on implementing the contents of the arrangement of commune-level administrative units and consulting voters through People's Councils at all levels on the arrangement of 155 commune-level administrative units to ensure compliance with regulations. At the same time, coordinating with Kien Giang province to complete the project of merging An Giang and Kien Giang provinces to submit to the Central Government.

Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung requested that heads of departments and branches continue to enhance their sense of responsibility, inspect, urge, and remind the progress of assigned tasks. Regarding the arrangement of commune-level administrative units, the Department of Home Affairs is requested to coordinate and advise the Provincial People's Committee on the project of activities of commune-level government organizations according to the instructions and regulations of the Central Government. The Department of Finance is assigned to work with localities on plans for management, arrangement, and use of headquarters, public assets, etc., and report to the Provincial People's Committee before May 10.

The Department of Education and Training coordinates with departments, branches and localities to prepare well for the high school graduation exam, instructing schools to provide good review instructions for 12th grade students. The Department of Health increases the work of preventing and controlling epidemics, especially dengue fever; coordinates with localities to strengthen propaganda work on disease prevention and control among the people. The Oc Eo Cultural Relic Management Board of An Giang province reports weekly progress to the Provincial People's Committee on the construction of the nomination dossier for the Oc Eo - Ba The Archaeological Relic Site, submitting it to UNESCO for recognition as a World Cultural Heritage. The Department of Science and Technology reviews and advises the Provincial People's Committee on preparations for the organization of the Lifelong Learning Launch Ceremony in 2025, and at the same time launches An Giang's lifelong learning application on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung requested the Department of Construction to coordinate with the Provincial Project Management Board and localities to urgently propose to the Provincial People's Committee projects that will be started simultaneously to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). The Provincial Traffic Safety Committee coordinates with departments, branches and localities to strengthen propaganda and handle black spots to ensure traffic order and safety.
