Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Construction, the Department of Construction has issued a document requesting the People's Committees of Tra On, Tam Binh and Long Ho districts to urgently urge and organize the implementation of the project to adjust and expand the general planning (QH) of the towns formed after the rearrangement to ensure progress and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval no later than June 2025.

For the 3 planning projects for Long Ho, Mang Thit and Vung Liem districts: implement according to Conclusion Notice No. 268-TB/TU dated March 12, 2025; after completing the merger at the commune level, the planning project will be adjusted to suit the Central Government's policy and the actual situation of the province.

According to the Department of Construction, the planning work of localities is currently being slowed down due to the implementation of Conclusion No. 127 of the Politburo and Secretariat, which requires not to organize at the district level.

According to the Conclusion Notice No. 268 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the planning for the construction of Long Ho, Mang Thit, and Vung Liem districts, Vinh Long province until 2030, with a vision to 2050, has been temporarily suspended. After completing the merger of communes, the district planning will be adjusted to suit the Central Government's policy and the actual situation of the province. Therefore, it will affect the planning for the construction of the district and rural areas.
