On the evening of April 14, the Ho Chi Minh City National University Competency Assessment Examination Council announced the score distribution of the first round of this year's competency assessment examination. Previously, the examination council had met and approved the results of the first round of the 2025 examination. These results will be announced on the website https://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn/dgnl/ on April 16.

Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of the Center for Testing and Assessment of Training Quality at Ho Chi Minh City National University, said that out of 126,297 graded exams, the average score of candidates was 618.4 points, with 142 candidates scoring over 1,000 points. The candidate with the highest score in the exam was 1,060 points and the candidate with the lowest score was 40 points.

Evaluating the exam scores of this round, Mr. Chinh commented: "The distribution of exam scores in the first round of 2025 is close to the standard distribution; the wide range of scores shows the high ability to classify candidates, which is favorable for the admission process."

Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh added that the analysis results showed that the difficulty level of the questions in the first round of the 2025 competency assessment test was similar to the design. At the same time, most of the questions in the test had good and very good discrimination, which helped to classify candidates well, suitable for admission purposes.

This year, Ho Chi Minh City National University will not send paper copies of exam result certificates to candidates as in previous years. Instead, candidates will be issued electronic certificates to create more favorable conditions for candidates and admission units, while improving the efficiency of management work according to the digital transformation trend.

From April 21, candidates can proactively access the Ho Chi Minh City National University's Competency Assessment Test Portal at: http://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn to look up and download electronic certificates.

The second round of the competency assessment exam will be held by Ho Chi Minh City National University on June 1 in 11 localities: Hue, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tien Giang, An Giang. Candidates will register for the second round from April 17 to May 7.

Currently, 106 educational institutions have registered to use the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University for admission.
