Nguyen Dong Chi Book Street applies modern technology
Nguyen Dong Chi Book Street has a 10-year investment contract. It is expected to be built in 5 months and will be put into operation in September this year to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.
The project is both important in developing reading culture, continuing the success of Ho Chi Minh City Book Street and Thu Duc City Book Street, and at the same time aiming to expand the development of reading culture in the new urban area of South Saigon.
Specifically, Nguyen Dong Chi Street, which has the identity of the South Saigon area, is 300 m long, intersecting with Nguyen Van Linh Street, a crowded and bustling residential area. This section of the street is where the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Cultural House (campus 2) is located, adjacent to many cultural works and many universities, so that together with Thu Duc City Book Street and Nguyen Van Binh Book Street, Ho Chi Minh City has another modern book street to serve the reading and entertainment needs of the people.
The investment category of Nguyen Dong Chi book street includes 17 book stalls, smart library space, book cafe space, culinary space... One of the highlights of the project is the integration of modern technology in a space imbued with traditional culture: Smart library applies modern Vr, AI and IOT technology to help readers easily access good and new books, increase the initiative in choosing books according to their needs and digital transformation area, space to support startups and young creativity to bring open learning experiences, encourage innovative thinking and access to knowledge in a flexible and modern way.
