Hanoi University of Science and Technology has just announced the scores of the first round of Thinking Assessment exam in 2025, held on January 18-19 with nearly 14,000 candidates.

The highest score of the first round this year was from the candidate from Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted with 98.61/100 points. This is also the highest score ever, breaking the previous record for valedictorian.

The remaining 4 candidates with the highest scores come from Vinh Bao High School (Hai Phong), Tam Duong High School (Vinh Phuc), Lien Son High School (Vinh Phuc) and High School for Natural Sciences (Hanoi).

According to the school, in this exam, 5 candidates scored over 90 points; 65 candidates scored over 80 points; 637 candidates scored over 70 points.

The average score of the first batch in 2025 is 54.54/100

Starting from 2025, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will issue a Certificate of Examination Results to candidates in the form of an electronic signature and sent directly to the candidate's exam registration account on the system. Candidates can access their registered account at https://tsa.hust.edu.vn to view their first round of exam results.

The results of the thinking assessment test will be used in university admissions for the 2025 admissions season with nearly 50 schools using it. Hanoi University of Science and Technology plans to increase the quota based on the thinking assessment test scores for training programs. The 2025 thinking assessment test will have two more rounds, on March 8-9 and April 26-27.
