Sumi Vietnam Wiring System Co., Ltd., Dong Van II Industrial Park (Duy Tien town) has more than 10,000 employees working at 3 factories in Dong Van, Thanh Liem and Nam Dinh. Along with taking care of the lives, representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees, every year, the company's union coordinates with the board of directors to launch emulation movements among workers, focusing on promoting initiatives, improving techniques, raising sense of responsibility, practicing thrift; regularly studying and gaining experience, improving skills, and performing well in occupational safety and hygiene. The results of the movement "Good workers, creative workers" contribute to helping the company complete its annual goals.

Mr. Phan Ngoc Thao, Chairman of the Union of Sumi Vietnam Wire System Co., Ltd. shared: All departments of the company are innovation groups, focusing on improving operations with the goal of solving difficulties for workers to easily perform, thereby improving product quality. During the working process, everyone can have initiatives, those initiatives all come from production practices, from the hands, minds and passion for work of the workers. Therefore, all initiatives, big or small, are appreciated by the employer and have appropriate forms of commendation and reward. The amount of money spent on innovation rewards by the company is about 100 million VND/month. Each month, workers bring the company about 500 large and small improvements, benefiting the business by more than 1 billion VND.

Identifying the emulation movement as a driving force to motivate each collective and individual to actively work in production, making important contributions to the completion of production and business plans of enterprises, the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union has directed grassroots trade unions to coordinate with enterprise leaders to launch and effectively implement the emulation movement "Excellent workers, Creative workers" with the goal of "Productivity, quality, efficiency" and the movement "Green, clean, beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene". Chairman of the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union Dang Dinh Quynh affirmed: The movement "Excellent workers, Creative workers" is an exciting emulation movement that receives the participation of a large number of union members and workers. Every year, thousands of union members and workers with outstanding achievements are recognized and rewarded by enterprises, all levels and sectors. Statistics show that over the past 3 years, more than 5,630 initiatives of union members and employees have been applied to production, contributing to the development of enterprises. In addition to the timely recognition and encouragement of enterprises, 1 initiative received a Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL); 19 initiatives received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 67 initiatives were commended by the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of the province.

In all areas of work, from agencies, administrative units to enterprises, hospitals, schools... everywhere there are creative imprints of union members and employees. Even in difficult times, union members and employees are still determined to seek and research solutions and initiatives to help businesses overcome difficulties, develop production, ensure jobs and income. In each industry and field, the movement is concretized and appropriately linked with other emulation movements such as: Movement "Good advice, good service"; Campaign to build "Loyal - Responsible - Integrity - Creativity" civil servants and public employees in the administrative sector. For educational units, the movement “Good worker, creative worker” is associated with the movement “Good teaching, good learning”, “Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning” and the campaign “Each teacher is a model of morality, self-study and creativity”, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere among the team of managers and teachers to improve the quality of education. In the health sector, the movement aims to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, and improve health services.

In the past 3 years, through the movement "Good workers, creative workers", the whole province has had 329 projects and products implemented with a total value of 3.1 billion VND; 24,481 topics and technical innovation initiatives have been applied with a value of over 261 billion VND. Topics and initiatives have been applied in practice, contributing to improving labor productivity, product quality, as well as improving working conditions, and innovating management in all fields. The spirit of creative labor has contributed to beautifying the traditional beauty of the working class and trade union organizations.

In order to commend and encourage employees to strive to compete in "Excellent and creative labor", to best complete assigned tasks, the commendation work is carried out promptly, the rate of workers and direct laborers receiving commendation has increased. Over the past 3 years, 158 union members and laborers have been awarded Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in labor production and union organization building.

With the efforts of the trade union organization, we believe that in the coming time, the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers" will continue to spread, creating an environment for union members and employees to freely research and create to have more and more initiatives, technical improvements, and useful solutions to help improve work efficiency, labor, and production; worthy of being the leading force in the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country. Thereby, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the province and each agency, unit, and enterprise.
