On August 19, the 51st ARTDO International Conference opened in Da Nang, with the theme “Changing lives by unleashing talent and developing skills”, co-organized by Dong A University, MITD SDN. BHD. (Malaysia) and ITD Vietnam Center for Management Training Development and English.

Taking place over 3 days from August 18 to 20, ARTDO 51 attracted more than 250 experts, managers, and scientists from 15 countries and territories. According to Mr. Wilson Cheah - Chairman of ARTDO International Vietnam, the conference took place in the face of challenges that require agility, progressive thinking, and collaboration, especially in the field of digital leadership.

“In that context, ARTDO 51 focuses on the future of human resource development, leadership and continuous innovation, thereby creating an environment where talents can thrive and organizations can achieve sustainable growth,” Mr. Wilson Cheah emphasized.

27 professional presentations at ARTDO 51 along with a space for exchanging ideas and experiences to share practical solutions to effectively build and connect digital leadership teams. Thereby actively contributing to the digital transformation process of Da Nang to become one of the leading technology centers and pioneers in the field of digital leadership in Vietnam.

At the opening session of ARTDO 51, the 2024 International HR Excellence Award - "HRD Excellence Award 2024" was presented by ARTDO to organizations and individuals with outstanding contributions in the field of international human resource training and development. In particular, Dong A University was honored in the collective award category and Mr. Mohd Khalis Abdul Rahim was honored for the individual award.

According to Mr. Luong Minh Sam - Chairman of the Board of Dong A University, ARTDO is an organization for training and developing human resources in the Asia - Pacific region, established in 1974 as an international non-governmental, non-profit organization including training organizations, educational institutions, human resources experts and multinational companies from more than 30 countries.

The ARTDO Secretariat is located in Manila (Philippines). Every year, ARTDO organizes an international conference on human resource management and development; and also awards the “Asia-Pacific Human Resources” award to organizations and individuals with outstanding contributions to the field of human resource training and development throughout the region. At ARTDO 51, Dong A University was honored to be the only training organization to receive this honorable award.

In addition, ARTDO also supports the establishment and development of training organizations, cooperates with international organizations as well as with private and government organizations in the field of human development; encourages and sponsors research activities and publishes educational scientific documents.
