This morning (March 27), the Traffic Police Department of Binh Duong Province Police said that the patrol force had just drawn up records and handled many cases of cyclists driving in groups through red lights on the national highway.

Previously, on social networks, images of a group of cyclists calmly running a red light on Highway 13 through Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province were shared, causing public outrage.
At dawn this morning, the Traffic Police deployed forces and disguised themselves to record at intersections on National Highway 13 in Thu Dau Mot City.
Through that, the traffic police discovered 5 cases of cyclists running red lights at the intersection with Thich Quang Duc Street. These cases were determined to be cyclists who "Failed to obey traffic light signals".
The authorities then drew up a record and temporarily detained the vehicle for processing.
According to the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Binh Duong Province, in the coming time, the unit will continue to arrange forces to record and handle all vehicles, especially motorbikes, cars... that "Do not comply with traffic light signals" at intersections in Binh Duong province.
Violations will be strictly handled according to regulations to serve as a deterrent, thereby ensuring safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic.
