On April 10, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Xuan Anh inspected the implementation of the Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway Construction Investment Project in Lang Son province.

Also attending were comrades: Hoang Van Thach, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Luong Trong Quynh, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches, sectors and localities of the two provinces: Cao Bang and Lang Son.

The working group inspected the progress of site clearance, relocation of power line infrastructure; progress of road and bridge construction at Km5+600, Po Pheo hamlet, Hoang Viet commune, Van Lang district; Km8+700, Na Sam town; bridge area Km11+800; tunnel No. 1, Chi Minh commune, Trang Dinh district (Lang Son).

Currently, the Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway Construction Investment Project in Van Lang and Trang Dinh districts has cleared 87.5% of the land. Regarding housing and land, Van Lang district has relocated 98/118 households, while 20/118 households have not relocated; 13 households with agricultural land have not yet handed over the land to the project. Trang Dinh district has relocated 77/89 households, while 12/89 households have houses and land, and 24 households with community land have not yet handed over the land to the project. The two localities have relocated technical infrastructure, reaching 85% of the target. Up to now, the project has mobilized more than 2,000 personnel, 985 machines and equipment, deployed 70 construction teams, and the current output has reached more than 2,300 billion VND.

However, in Trang Dinh and Van Lang districts, there are still problems with housing and land for 37 households; the implementation of technical infrastructure relocation is still slow, affecting the contractor's construction progress.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Xuan Anh highly appreciated the results of the Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway Construction Investment Project in Lang Son province; at the same time, affirmed that Cao Bang province will closely coordinate in overcoming difficulties and obstacles in site clearance, ensuring the goal of basically handing over the site on the route by April 15 and opening the entire route by December 31.

Leaders of the two provinces: Cao Bang and Lang Son requested localities along the expressway to step up propaganda to the people to hand over the site to the construction unit as soon as possible. Contractors should increase manpower and machinery to urgently relocate technical infrastructure including telecommunications and power lines out of the project construction area before April 15. The Department of Agriculture and Environment of the two provinces should study the draft document to unify the policy of supporting rent for households and individuals who have to move while waiting for the completion of the resettlement area.
