To proactively ensure traffic safety in the area, the Provincial Traffic Police Department has developed a plan to have 100% of its personnel on duty during the holiday. Develop a plan to regulate and divert traffic from a distance, in advance, and be ready to support people and tourists when requested. Strengthen traffic control and strictly handle violations according to the motto "no forbidden zones, no exceptions" with violations that can potentially cause traffic accidents such as: carrying more people than prescribed; driving on the wrong route or schedule; carrying an overloaded or oversized vehicle; driving beyond the prescribed time; violating alcohol and drug concentrations; speeding; avoiding or overtaking in violation of regulations; violations of stopping, parking, picking up and dropping off passengers; going the wrong way; running red lights, etc.
For railway routes, organize inspections and handle violations, especially at level crossings and self-opened paths; inspect compliance with train safety regulations by railway staff. In addition, focus on controlling and strictly handling violations on inland waterway routes. At the same time, coordinate with functional forces to prevent, combat, and strongly suppress all types of crimes that take advantage of activities on traffic routes.

On some traffic routes in the province such as: National Highway 1A, 38, 21A, 21B and key intersections in the center of Phu Ly city, the Provincial Traffic Police force has proactively coordinated closely with relevant units in performing the task of traffic flow and guidance at key and complicated locations... to ensure people's safe and smooth travel. In addition, the Provincial Traffic Police force has also promoted the dissemination of the Law on Traffic Safety to raise awareness and strict compliance with traffic safety regulations for people, gradually forming a traffic culture. All violations are strictly handled according to the provisions of law.
In particular, according to the assessment of the authorities, people's alcohol consumption usually increases during the holidays. As a result, violations of alcohol concentration tend to increase compared to normal days. To help prevent the risk of traffic safety loss due to drivers violating alcohol concentration, the provincial traffic police force has strengthened traffic control and strictly handled violations. In particular, focusing on detecting alcohol concentration violations on all main roads and streets in the area. Regularly changing the location, time frame for inspection and conducting alcohol concentration testing for drivers with the motto of "no forbidden areas, no exceptions". In addition to handling administrative violations, the traffic police force also sends notices of violations to agencies and units for cases of cadres, civil servants, public employees, party members, and armed forces in the area. During the first 3 days of the peak period, the provincial traffic police discovered and handled 86 cases of alcohol concentration violations, imposing fines of over 600 million VND.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns, cities and related units to strictly implement the Prime Minister's instructions in Official Dispatch No. 39/CD-TTg and related documents on ensuring traffic safety and order to serve people's travel needs during the April 30 - May 1 holiday and the 2025 summer tourist peak.
