The Department of Home Affairs of Phu Tho province has just issued a document agreeing to accept teacher Nguyen Dai Dinh Nam, husband of the teacher who died in Ha Giang, to work at the Education and Training Department under the People's Committee of Thanh Son District (Phu Tho).

The document stated: "The Department of Home Affairs of Phu Tho province received a job transfer application and a document dated May 19, 2023 from the People's Committee of Thanh Son district (Phu Tho) regarding the request to accept Mr. Nguyen Dai Dinh Nam, born in 1983, currently a teacher at Duong Thuong Primary Boarding School (Yen Minh district, Ha Giang) as a civil servant.

Mr. Nam has a university degree in physical education. After reviewing the documents, balancing the assigned staff and being present, the Department of Home Affairs of Phu Tho province agreed to accept Mr. Nam to work at the Education and Training Department under the People's Committee of Thanh Son district on the condition that he accepts the work assignment and submits all original documents and related papers.

In the above document, the Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Phu Tho province also requested the Department of Home Affairs of Ha Giang province and the People's Committee of Yen Minh district, Ha Giang province to carry out the transfer procedures for teacher Nguyen Dai Dinh Nam according to his wishes and carry out the procedures according to regulations.

Before the above documents, the Vietnam Education Trade Union also sent a dispatch to relevant units requesting consideration of transferring teacher Nguyen Dai Dinh Nam to work closer to home.

On May 3, teacher Mai Thi Yen, a teacher at Duong Thuong Kindergarten (Duong Thuong Commune, Yen Minh District, Ha Giang Province), along with her husband and 4-year-old daughter, rode a motorbike from Yen Minh Town (Yen Minh District) to the school to teach.

However, on the way to school, they encountered a slippery slope and the couple's motorbike lost its brakes and fell into a deep ravine. The accident happened 2 km from the school.

Due to severe injuries, teacher Yen died at 8:00 p.m. the same day. Her husband, teacher Nguyen Dai Dinh Nam, was also seriously injured and had to have surgery to remove one kidney. His health condition is poor.
