On April 26, the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Pham Duc An, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and delivered a speech at the congress.

The Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs was established on the basis of merging the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. The Department's Party Committee has 12 subordinate Party cells with 153 Party members. In the period of 2020-2025, both before and after the merger, the Department's Party Committee has successfully completed its political tasks. In particular, it has closely followed the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the direction and guidance of the Ministry of Home Affairs, and central departments and branches; proactively and actively carried out all aspects of work successfully.

At the same time, continue to innovate political and ideological work in line with reality, creating high unity and consensus among cadres and party members. The work of Party organization and building is directed resolutely; the arrangement of the apparatus, streamlining of focal points and staffing contributes to improving the operational efficiency of agencies and units. The work of inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline continues to be considered important, contributing to maintaining Party discipline and order. Professional tasks are given attention, comprehensive leadership and direction, and effectively implemented in all aspects, which are recognized and highly appreciated by the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and central ministries and branches. The Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs has successfully completed its tasks for 3 out of 5 years.

During the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs has set out key directions, goals and solutions. In particular, strengthening Party building work, further improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee, the vanguard and exemplary nature of Party members, especially the heads of Party committees, leading the excellent completion of political tasks; building a Party Committee that meets the standards of being clean and strong. Every year, the Party Committee and its affiliated Party cells are assessed to have completed their tasks well or better; 95% or more of Party members are considered to have completed their tasks well, of which 20% are expected to have completed their tasks excellently; 100% of cadres and Party members self-study, self-improve their digital capacity, apply artificial intelligence (AI) to support their work and have skills to work in a digital environment; the rate of new Party members is 3-3.5% of the total number of Party members...

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Pham Duc An, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs in the 2020-2025 term. In particular, after the arrangement and establishment, the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs quickly directed the stabilization of the team, organized and implemented tasks continuously, without leaving any gaps. In the spirit of the "Era of Rising", entering the 2025-2030 term, he requested the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs to continue to overcome difficulties; promote advantages, continue to focus on leading and directing the implementation of assigned tasks well; continue to advise on perfecting the project to arrange administrative units according to the 2-level local government model; streamline the organizational structure.

In addition, the Party Committee directed to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation; strengthen research and contribute to the work of law making, especially specialized laws and decrees and circulars in the field of work; advise and propose the Provincial People's Committee to review and amend legal documents related to decentralization, delegation and authorization to enhance proactiveness associated with enhancing responsibility and management efficiency.

At the Congress, the Provincial Party Committee announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary and Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs consists of 10 comrades, comrade Bui Thi Binh, Director of the Department of Home Affairs holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department for the 2025-2030 term; the Standing Committee of the Party Committee consists of 3 comrades; the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee consists of 5 comrades.

The Provincial Party Committee also announced the decision to appoint a delegation of the Department of Home Affairs Party Committee to attend the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, including 10 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate.
