On the morning of May 1, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province had information about the number of tourists during the May 30 and May 1 holidays.

With about 220,000 tourists coming to Binh Thuan, this number increased by 25% over the same period in 2023. Thereby bringing in revenue from tourism activities estimated at 420 billion VND.

Most of them are domestic tourists from Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Khanh Hoa, the Southern provinces, Hanoi and mainly travel with families, individual tourists by personal vehicles. Besides, there are also a smaller number of tourists traveling on tours to Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan through travel agencies.

In particular, the number of tourists coming to the province was very large from April 27 to April 30. Due to the hot weather, the beaches in Phan Thiet were crowded with people swimming in the afternoons.

Along with that, many fun activities are organized by tourist areas for visitors such as: Kite flying festival at The Cliff resort, Carnival music festival NovaWorld Phan Thiet combined with fireworks on the evening of April 30, attracting a lot of people and tourists to the tourist area in the south of Phan Thiet city.

Phu Quy Island is a popular tourist destination. High-speed boats have increased their trips but are all fully booked. Tourist attractions on Phu Quy Island are always packed with visitors.

According to the assessment of the tourism industry, tourism activities in the whole Binh Thuan province during the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year took place vibrantly with many rich and diverse activities.
