On the afternoon of April 25, at Buon Ma Thuot High School, the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training held the closing ceremony of the Vietnamese Language Exchange Contest for preschool children in ethnic minority areas of Dak Lak province, school year 2024-2025.
The Organizing Committee awarded the Delegation Flag to outstanding units.
The Vietnamese Language Exchange Contest for preschool children in ethnic minority areas of Dak Lak province is a meaningful and practical activity to promote and educate children to preserve the cultural identity of the nation and locality; enhance Vietnamese for preschool children of ethnic minorities, contribute to developing communication skills in Vietnamese, develop language, social emotions, help children be bold and confident when communicating; promote and raise awareness of parents and the community, enhance Vietnamese for children in ethnic minority areas in preschools...
The contest had the participation of 15 teams with about 150 contestants who are officials, managers, preschool teachers and 5-6 year old kindergarten children (born in 2019) of ethnic minorities from 15 Departments of Education and Training of districts, towns and cities in the province. The teams went through 3 rounds: Greeting; Talent; Knowledge.
The Organizing Committee awarded the teams with excellent achievements in the Greeting competition.
According to the Organizing Committee, throughout the competition, the teams have prepared carefully and seriously. The competition entries were invested in both content and performance form. The teams skillfully combined elements such as music, props, costumes, and illustrated scenes to support the effective transmission of Vietnamese content. Each entry is a vivid story, rich in images, conveying a clear educational message, suitable for preschool age; children have shown confidence, flexibility in language, and a natural, coherent performance style. In particular, the teams have been flexible, skillful, and creative in applying national cultural elements to the entries. The vividly recreated images of daily life, festivals, folk games, etc. not only help children understand and love Vietnamese more but also arouse pride in their national cultural identity.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the Delegation Flag to 6 units with high achievements in the contest, in which the First Prize belonged to the Department of Education and Training of Krong Nang district; the Second Prize belonged to the Department of Education and Training of Lak and Cu Kuin districts; the Third Prize belonged to the Department of Education and Training of M'Drak, Krong Bong districts and Buon Ma Thuot city.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to units with high achievements in the competitions. Accordingly, in the Greeting competition, the first prize went to the Department of Education and Training of Krong Nang district; the second prize went to the Department of Education and Training of M'Drak; 3 third prizes went to the Department of Education and Training of the districts: Ea Kar, Cu Kuin, Cu M'gar; 5 consolation prizes went to the Department of Education and Training of the districts: Krong Bong, Krong Ana, Buon Don, Ea Sup, Lak.
For the Talent competition, the First Prize went to the Department of Education and Training of Buon Ma Thuot City; 02 Second Prizes went to the Departments of Education and Training of Buon Don and Ea H'leo; 3 Third Prizes went to the Departments of Education and Training of the districts: Krong Ana, Krong Nang, Ea Kar; 4 Encouragement Prizes went to the Departments of Education and Training of the districts: Krong Bong, Krong Buk, M'Drak, Lak.
The Organizing Committee rewards teams with excellent achievements in the Knowledge competition.
For the Knowledge competition, 02 First prizes belonged to the Department of Education and Training of Lak and Cu Kuin; 4 Second prizes belonged to the Department of Education and Training of the districts: Krong Bong, Krong Buk; Buon Ho, M'Drak; 5 Third prizes belonged to the Department of Education and Training of the districts: Krong Nang, Krong Pak, Ea Kar, Cu M'gar and Buon Ma Thuot City.
The results of the Contest are one of the important bases to contribute to assessing the current status and quality of implementation of the Project "Enhancing Vietnamese language preparation for preschool children and primary school students in ethnic minority areas based on the children's mother tongue" in the period 2021-2025.
