On April 30, reporters were present at the construction site of the road connecting National Highway 32 with the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway. There, dozens of machines and workers were working busily.

According to Mr. Nguyen Tien Sy, Director of Tien Dat Construction and Trading Consulting Joint Stock Company, during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, contractors deployed 10 construction teams simultaneously, mobilizing 14 excavators and an average of 60 workers along the route.

The project was approved in 2020, the investor is Yen Bai Provincial Construction Investment Management Board. In January 2022, the project started construction with a total investment of 546 billion VND.

According to the design, the route is a level IV mountainous road with a total length of 43.5 km. After completion, the route is expected to create favorable conditions to promote economic and tourism development for Tram Tau district, Nghia Lo town and Mu Cang Chai district (Yen Bai province).

A representative of Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company No. 9 said that the company's previous contract package had been completed, but due to the circulation of storm No. 3 causing landslides on the positive slope, the contractor had to clean up and build stone cages to ensure the road surface structure, and is now 90% completed.
