The Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council reviews draft resolutions submitted at the 26th Session of the Provincial People's Council.

To prepare content for the 26th Session (Special Session) of the 14th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, on April 24, the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee reviewed the draft resolutions submitted at the session.

Head of the Provincial People's Council Legal Committee Pham Thi Hong Hanh chaired the review meeting.

The contents to be examined include: Draft resolution on approving the policy of rearranging commune-level administrative units of the province in 2025; draft resolution to abolish Resolution No. 101/2013/NQ-HDND dated July 19, 2013 of the Provincial People's Council on a number of incentive policies for households to live permanently on Tran Island, Co To District, Quang Ninh Province.

Delegates commented on the draft resolution.

After listening to the content, the delegates gave their opinions and discussed to clarify some issues to ensure the legal basis, practical basis and the process of drafting the resolution according to their authority. For each content, the delegates also analyzed, discussed and carefully considered the specific factors of tradition, history, culture, customs, geographical location and natural conditions of the relevant administrative units, in accordance with the planning orientations approved by competent authorities.

Concluding the review session, Comrade Pham Thi Hong Hanh, Head of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council, requested relevant units to fully absorb the comments and contributions; promptly supplement and complete the report to be submitted at the 26th Session (special session) of the Provincial People's Council.
