Located at Da Vinci Camp, Ba Trai Commune, Ba Vi District, Hanoi, the first Stained Glass Art Museum in Vietnam officially opened on March 15, 2025 after 3 years of construction, opening a space for converging art, culture and creativity specializing in stained glass.

The museum was founded by journalist and diplomat Nguyen Xuan Thang, President of the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations and Director of the Stained Glass Art Museum , who spent nearly 40 years collecting more than 2,000 stained glass works from around the world to establish this museum.

The exhibition space inside the museum is filled with light and color from stained glass, with about 2,000 stained glass works of various types.

The museum has three main exhibition areas, including artifacts related to the history of stained glass art with archaeological glass artifacts, stained glass applications, and documents on the history and techniques of stained glass from around the world.

Next to that is an area displaying valuable modern stained glass works of art, collected from many countries such as: Bohemian (Czech Republic) hot-worked art glass, Murano glass (Italy), British glass, Tiffany (USA) Art Nouveau stained glass, polychrome, bicolor, luminescent glass...

One of the highlights of the museum is the stained glass work " The School of Athens".

An exquisite stained glass lamp with intricate floral motifs in the Tiffany style - a famous American stained glass school in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
