AI supports the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census

The Rural and Agricultural Census, which is conducted every 10 years, is a key activity for the Government to comprehensively assess the current status of rural development, agricultural production and people's lives. The huge workload, thousands of pages of professional documents, and the mobilization of more than 10,000 investigators have created challenges for coordination and ensuring data accuracy.

Previously, the process of supporting investigators was mainly manual: looking up paper documents, messaging via Zalo groups, or calling supervisors for answers, which could prolong processing time.

To address these challenges, the General Statistics Office has chosen to cooperate withFPT Corporation to deploy FPT AI Agents Information Search Virtual Assistant from July 1 to October 1, 2025, to help investigators quickly search for documents on policies, decrees, and regulations serving the census. This solution is directly integrated into the CAPI (Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing) application - the main operational tool of investigators, and at the same time provides a dedicated website to help look up information, ask questions, and receive support more quickly and conveniently.
